The gem creature reared on its hind legs.  Thrashing around, trying to get free.  Pearl readied her spear and lunged to cut it’s throat.  The creature ducked down and flung Amethyst from its back and deflected Pearl’s attack.  The two gems collided, crashing into the beach. Garnet watched as her friends struggled to get back to their feet.  She sneered and faced the best, head on.  It swung at her, but she dodged and knocked it square in the jaw.  It stumbled back into the ocean.  She followed up with a left hook.  The creature stumbled back further.  Garnet leapt into the air again, and brought her fists down for a final attack.
